Contemplation sessions include a presentation, group discussion, and time for personal prayer.
Participants may stay for lunch for an additional charge.

Presenter Bios

Sr. Ardath Blake, HM
has received training and supervision in spiritual direction through the
St. Bueno Spiritual Exercise Centre, Asaph, Wales UK; the Center for Spirituality and Lay Ministry of Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT and at Loyola House in Guelph, Ontario. Ardath also has a MA in Theology and MS in Education and experience in parish pastoral ministry.



Jim Merhaut is the President/CEO of Villa Maria Education & Spirituality Center. He is an award winning author and national speaker. He has authored and co-authored several books and has published numerous articles. His most recent publication is The Gratitude Journal: A Journey of Transformation, released in March, 2011. Jim and his wife, Debbie, are the parents of five children.

Sr. Barbara O'Donnell, HM is an educator with youth and adults who offers presentations, workshops, retreats, and rituals integrating spirituality and ecological sustainability. She serves as an Ambassador for the Catholic Coalition on Climate Change. Sister Barbara holds a Master Degree in Religious Education and in Earth Literacy.

Sr. Barbara Lenarcic, HM received her training and supervision through the Center for Spirituality and Lay Ministry at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT and at Loyola House in Guelph, Ontario. She has a MEd. in Religious Education and a MEd. in Mental Health Counseling. She has experience in parish religious education, pastoral ministry, and as a therapist and spiritual director at a renewal center for persons in ministry.

Matt Abramowski is the current program director at Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center. Before coming to Villa Maria, Matt spent 3 years as Director of Faith Formation and Youth Ministry in a vibrant Catholic Community. Matt studied theology, philosophy, and pastoral ministry at Walsh University in North Canton, OH. He lives one mile from Villa Maria with his wife, young daughter, a cat, and 3 ducks.

Cost for this program is $7.00 per person.
Cost for this program with lunch is $12.00 per person.
